Aluminium Oxide is a traditional abrasive for wood, it is brown, it is not brittle, it is tough & instead of the grain fracturing like silicone carbide sheets, it blunts when used by hand. This results in a professional finish and no grey deposit oft en seen when using silicone carbide.
