The Great North Asymmetric Challenge – Bassenthwaite SC Ronstan has today announced that it will again be sponsoring The Great North Asymmetric Challenge, to be sailed at Bassenthwaite SC this season on 28/29 April, following the success of last year’s inaugural event. Last year the event, which is an 8 race series that is open to all the asymmetric classes, attracted some of country’s top sailors. Ten of the leading asymmetric classes were represented. This year, with more class associations adding the event to their calendar, it is hoped that the event will attract an even wider entry and that still more classes will be represented at the event.
